All Indigo pieces on the site are dyed with American-grown indigo, and fermented in the vat so that the color is very much alive~ a living microcosm.
Indigo is also a MEDICINAL plant~ antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Worn by farmers in west Africa to repel pests.
